on Sunday 10 July 2011, Israeli naval vessels patrolling the Gaza sea opened sporadic fire on Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of As-Sudaniya area west of the towns of Beit Lahiya and Jabalia in North Gaza district.
The firing lasted for about 15 minutes and scared the fishermen on the boats, who sailed to land immediately.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
