IOF attack Al Sheja’iya nighborhood; one injured and one killed.

At approximately 3pm on Thursday 7 April 2011, the IOF attacked the eastern parts of Al Sheja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza city.
The attacks were concentrated on the Al Kurba area, east of the neighborhood.
One IOF artillery shell fell on the house of MahmoudMansour Al Manasra, 54, near the Al Kurba crossing.
The two-story house was still under construction and about 350 square meters in area.
The shell hit the second floorand caused physical damages.
The owner of the house was killed and his son, FawazMahmoud Al Manasra, 15, sustained an injury from shrapnel in his right hand while he was irrigating plants infront of his house.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Fawaz said that his father left their other house, which is about 150 meters away from the attacked house, when he heard the sound of the explosion.
Both father and son went to the attacked house to check the damage caused.
As soon as they arrived at the door of the house, the IOF fired two artillery shells at them.
As a result, the father was killed and his body was dismembered and Fawaz was injured.
