At approximately 9:20am on Sunday 3 April 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian shepherds who were grazing sheep near Erez crossing, in North Gaza district.
They were about 600 meters from the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel, in the North Gaza district, when the IOF opened sporadic fire on them.
No casualties or injuries were reported but the shepherds were terrified and left the area.
