At around midday 12pm on Wednesday 30 March 2011, Gaza police dispersed a demonstration near the At-Tiyaran crossing in Gaza City.
Dozens of police held cudgels and dispersed the demonstrators.
The demonstrators moved from Al Azhar University, west of Gaza City.
When the demonstrators reached the At-Tiyaran crossing, the police dispersed them.
The demonstration was organized to call for an end to the Palestinian internal split.
The police detained two women for their participation in the demonstration.
Two women were slightly injured and were admitted to Al Quds and Al Awda Hospitals, in North Gaza district.
