The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued to commit violations of international human rights law (IHRL) and international humanitarian law (IHL) against the population of the Gaza Strip in January 2011.
This report, which is laid out chronologically, details Israeli violations carried out in January 2011.
The report illustrates the use of Israeli Order No.
1650, which allows the IOF to arrest and deport any person; including Palestinians who hold Gazan ID cards and live in the West Bank as well as the spouses of Palestinians in the West Bank who live there.
During this reporting period, the IOF deported one person from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip.
The report highlights the Israeli extra judicial killings of Palestinians who are allegedly wanted to the IOF, and other violations of international law, in which the IOF showed disregard to the rules of international humanitarian law.
