In the evening hours of Friday 6 August 2010, a family feud erupted near the Community College in Tal Al Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City. As a result, Ayman Adeeb Hajjaj, 19, was killed and seven persons were injured; one of whom critically. According to initial police investigations, the dispute started as a result of a traffic accident in which a taxi driver from the Hajjaj family hit a donkey-laden cart belonging to one of the Ad-Deeri family.
