10:30am on Monday 15 March 2010, the Gazan security apparatus declined issuing a travel permission for Abu Juda An-Nahal, Fatah revolutionary council member, to travel to Jordan to receive medical treatment.
Abu Juda has an Israeli permission to travel to Jordan via Erez crossing for medical treatment.
Abu Juda applied to the internal apparatus office in Gaza to obtain a permission to travel, but the security apparatus refused without giving reasons.

1:30pm on the same day, he received a phone call from one of the security apparatus members who told him that he could travel.
When Abu Juda arrived at the Gazan checkpoint, near the Erez crossing, the Gazan police confiscated his ID card and ordered him to return home.
