Gazan Police Shut Down Internet Cafe shop and Game Shops in North Gaza

On 1 March 2010, Gazan police informed the owners of game and internet cafe shops to close their shops and to ask the municipality in their areas about this decision.
When they went there, the municipality informed them that the Gazan Local Government Minister had issued a decision not to register any internet and cafe shops and that they are not allowed to renew their licenses.
The reasons behind this decision are  unknown.
Al Mezan identified some names of these shops as follows: Al Sharif Internet Café Shop, Hero Internet and Game Shop, Sama Net, and Al Turk Game Shop.
All these shops are located in the Al Karama area in North Gaza District.
It's worth mentioning that there was a previous decision that did not allow the shops in the Gaza Strip to open after 5pm.
This decision was applied in different places throughout the Gaza Strip, but  it was not applied to the majority of the Gaza Strip.
