On 7 February 2007, an 8 year-old child, Ahmad Abu Abdu, died of his wounds from which he suffered last week, after being shot in the head and transferred to Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah. Thus, 6 were killed in the infighting occurred on 1 February 2007 at app. 2pm, after members of Hamas and the Executive Force of the Ministry of Interior attacked a convoy of trucks lifting caravans and equipment for the Presidential Guards in the Middle Gaza area. Hamas claimed that the trucks carried arms and military equipment.
