On 9 March 2007, at app. 1am, gunmen kidnapped Sami Al Jdayan, 37, while he was in his cell phones store located in Jabalia Camp. He was released the next day at app. 5pm after being beaten and shot in legs. According to medics, he is in critical condition. It was reported that Al jdayan was already kidnapped two months ago.
