On 19 March 2007, at app. 7.30pm, two police officers Hani Anjeli, 30 and Salem Emawi, 30, were injured while chasing young men who opened fire in Al Halal market in Al Bureij Camp. The police officers interfered to settle a quarrel among traders in the market. According to medics, they sustained light wounds.
