At app. 11.10pm on 23 April 2007, an explosive device blasted in a wedding party in south Deir Balah, injuring a twelve-year-old child, Ibrahim Mesheal. He was bruised in his left hand and transferred to Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Balah. Fire shooting and explosions of explosive pipes were heard parallel to music during the party.
