On May 11 2007, Baker Ihmeid ayyash, 31, resident of Deir Al Balah, was hit by a live bullet to his left leg as he misused his weapon while at work, in Middle Gaza District. Ayyash was sent to Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for medical treatment. Further, on the same day, at approximately 11:45, Adnan Salah Abu Hojeir, 19, resident of Johr Ad Sik village, was hit by a live bullet to his left leg as he was playing with his friend's weapon.
