On 13/5/2007, at approximately 17:00, an armed group intercepted a civilian car owned by Al Shalfouh Bakehouse in Beit Lahia, forced its driver Abd Ar Rahman Al Shalfouh out of it, and then shot him with a live bullet to his left leg. Al Shalfouh was reported seriously injured. No information is available regarding the Identity of the perpetrators or the motivations behind this incident
