The IOF, stationed on the eastern borders, fired 25 tank missiles at different parts of north Gaza Governate.
The details of these attacks are as follows:
On 17/5/2007, at app.
10:30 8 Israeli military vehicles penetrated 500 meters into eastern Jabalia, and stationed themselves in eastern Al Shuhada Cemetery.
The first attack started at approximately 18:50 on the same day.
No causalities were reported, but caused terror among civilians, particularly children and women.
Further, students were denied access to their schools, and farmers and workers were prevented from going to their work places.

00, the same day, 20 military vehicles penetrated As Saifa area, and the Israeli evacuated settlements of Doghit and Ili Senai, in the east and west of Beit Lahia.
The IOF stationed themselves in these area and high-piled sand around themselves under heavy fire cover.
At app 19:30, 5 military vehicles penetrated Al Mazbala area, in eastern Beit Hanoun, and stationed themselves in the area under heavy fire cover.

19:40, the IOF occupied the house of Yasser Faiyz Tafesh, turning it into a military surveillance point.
They then proceeded to fire at whomever approached the area.
At approximately 20:30, 8 military vehicles penetrated a plot of land owned by the Shorrab family, in north east Beit Hanoun, and stationed themselves in the area.

18:30, the IOF fired three missiles landing on the Izbet Abd Rabu area.
The attack caused damage to two houses owned by Mohammed and Sayid Al Batesh.
No casualties were reported.
