On 10 June 2007, at app. 14:30, unknown armed men kidnapped Abdullah Mohammed Abu Hasira, 22, and Mohammed Eid Abu Hasira, 23, both members of the presidential security and residents of the Al Mina area. The two young men were taken to an unknown destination. Armed clashes erupted in Tel Al Hawa neighborhood and the area near Ansar military base in Gaza following this incident.
