2 Palestinians killed, 15 injured in an Israeli air strike in Rafah

At approximately 8.
15pm, on Saturday 4 August 2007, an Israeli warplane launched three missiles at a car and a truck in the southern Gaza town of Rafah, killing two Palestinians and injuring fifteen others.

One of the missiles targeted the car and two hit the truck.
Both vehicles were attacked about ten 10 kilometers from the central gate of the Rafah Crossing, according Al Mezan' investigations.

It was reported that 30-year-old Hisham Nasser Al Jammal, who sustained wounds in the head by from shrapnel while standing in front of his house, and the driver of the truck, 28-year-old Midhat Ahmed Al Halabi, were killed in this attack.
15 others were injured, among whom were two firemen: 35-year-old Akram Mahmoud Abu Taqqiya and 27-year-old Rami Issam Abu Ubaid.
The wounded were taken to Abu Yousif Al Najjar hospital in Rafah.
