At approximately 9am on 22 August 2007, IOF vessels opened fire at fishing boats on Rafah beach and detained eight fishermen. IOF helicopters also opened fire at boats near the Swedish Village, damaging 15 of which. An artillery shell hit the house of Abd Al Hadii Al Qin in the area, but no injuries were reported. Those arrested have been identified as: - 48-year-old Kamel Rajab Abu Odeh, - 18-year-old Khalil Kamel Rajab Abu Odeh, - 14-year-old Abd Ar Rahman Abd Al Hadi Muhammad Al Qin, - 14-year-old Iyad Bassim Abu Sleima, - 22-year-old Ahmad Muhammad An Najjar, - 16-year-old Muhammad Farahat Ashour, - 17-year-old Yousif Abdullah Khalil An Najjar, - 17-year-old Ali Hassan Al Najar
