At approximately 10.20pm, on 17 September 2007, three gunmen opened fire at Walid Ad-Dirawi, 40, injuring him with a live bullet to his abdomen, while he was walking near his house in An-Nussirat Refugee Camp, middle of the Gaza Strip. He was admitted to Shuhada Al Aqsa hospital where he died of his wounds, the next day. This incident was on the ground of family feud.
