8:30am, on 13/2/2008, ten IOF military vehicles penetrated into the DCO area (highlands), which is located in the vicinity of the Erez Crossing.

8 pm later that day, some of the vehicles advanced towards Salah Ad Deen Road and closed the Crossing.
The IOF opened fire indiscriminately towards homes in two areas of Beit Hanoun: Ezbet Beit Hanoun and the An Nada neighborhood, The IOF withdrew from the area at app.
5:15pm.
The incursion continued for a second day.

8:15am, the IOF blew up several buildings in the Erez Industrial Zone.
These buildings were shelled in previous attacks and were not in operation.
The IOF used bulldozers to remove debris from the explosions, with the intention of clearing the area in front of the northern border, where soldiers are stationed (Erez Crossing).
Beit Hanoun is the most populous town near the northern border and the Erez Crossing.
