12:30am, on 17/2/2008, ten IOF military vehicles entered into the Gaza Strip, and headed west towards the Gaza International Airport until they reached As Shouka village in Rafah.
Using high caliber machine guns, they entered under heavy fire and drone cover.
The IOF drones fired four missiles at a number of citizens.
As a result, Omar Abdel Rahman Al Debary, 21, was injured by a live bullet to the head.
He was reported to have sustained serious injury.

2:45 pm, the IOF launched three ground-to-ground missiles at a police force located near the gate of the Rafah Crossing.
As a result, policeman Ibrahim Salman Hussein Sobeih, 28, was killed after suffering from shrapnel wounds all over his body and died immediately.
Also, three of his colleagues were injured, bringing the number of injured to eight.
All of them were injured by shrapnel throughout their bodies.
One of them was reported to have sustained serious injury.
It is noteworthy that the IOF are still stationed at the Gaza International Airport.
