4pm, on 28 February 2008, a one-and-a-half year old, Imad Mubarak Eshekhadem, drowned in the drainage basins around Umm Al-Nasr village in northern Gaza.
It is reported that the child was playing with his mother while she was collecting firewood place near the water-purification plant, located near the eastern basins of the village.
While he was playing, he slipped into the eastern basin.
His mother tried to save him, and his body was later found and removed from the basin.
