On 25 March 2008, at app. 8.20 pm, Members of the Civil Defense Forces picked up the bodies of Mohammed Hamed Abu Ghneim, 28, and Iyad Fat'hi Ayyash, 27, who choked to death in a tunnel on 20 March 2003 as they tried to rescue people after the tunnel collapsed on them on the Egyptian borders with Gaza in the As Salam neighborhood of southern Rafah town.
