On Saturday, 7/6/2008, at approximately 7:20am, the IOF, positioned inside the border line east of Khan Younis, opened fire towards a Municipality worker. 45-year-old Mohammed Sulaiman Sobhi Qdeih, who was repairing a water line 500 meters from the border in Khozaa village, was hit by a live bullet to the left knee. He was transferred by ambulance to the European Hospital where he was reported to have sustained moderate injury. The IOF had bulldozed the border line, from where the shots were fired, during its incursion the previous day.
