A clan fight broke out at around 17:30 on Thursday, 2 October 2008 due to a dispute over the ownership of a median strip at al-Sikkah Street.
Ibrahim Muhammad al-Arja, 60, was shot in the right leg.
His son, Deifallah al-Arja, 20, was shot in the left thigh.
Members of al-Arja clan attacked the shooter and taken over his handgun.
A police force rushed at the scene, dispersed mobs and arrested a number of people.
Later the handgun was seized by the police.
