Yesterday, the belligerent Israeli Occupation Forces continued their aggression against the Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip as well as their properties.
In this context, Israeli helicopters shelled Bethlehem in the West Bank and ordered the residents of the eastern parts of the city to evacuate their houses because they were to be shelled.
This created a state of horror and fear amongst the Palestinian civilians.
In a highly dangerous step, the Israelis have been enforcing the siege imposed upon the Palestinian population centers especially the cities of Bethlehem and Hebron in the West Bank.
This morning the belligerent Israeli Occupation Forces have blocked the entrances of the two cities by cement walls.
The imposition of siege upon the Palestinian cities and blocking the roads connecting them together leads to separating them from each other.
In Gaza Strip, the Israeli Forces have blocked the side roads leading to the main (Gaza-Rafah) road near Kfar Darom Jewish settlement.
In this context the Israelis placed large cement blocks and sand heaps, and dispersed a large number of tanks along the entrances.
This paves the way to the creation of isolated and blocked Palestinian cantons, a goal which the Israeli government works very hard to achieve.
On the other hand, the belligerent Israeli Occupation Forces and the Jewish settlers have continued to use excessive and lethal force against the unarmed Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Territories.
In this context the following Palestinians martyred yesterday:
Salah Fauzi Najm; 15 years, Almaghazi, Heart injury.
Nail Ali Azzama’reh; 25 years, Halhoul/ Hebron, Head injury.
Emad Ismail Alhauamdah; 33 years, Assamou’/ Hebron, Head injury.
The following Palestinians martyred this mourning:
Ashraf Habaib; 15 years, Askar/ Nablus.
Head injury on 16/10.
Said Adnan Attanbour; 17 years, Nablus.
Head injury on 20/10.
By this, the total number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli soldiers and settlers reaches 120 while the number of injuries exceeds 6000.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians on 29/9/200, AL-MEZAN Center for Human Rights has stressed the danger of the Israeli intention to kill the highest possible number of Palestinian civilians and to cause the biggest possible destruction to their properties.
AL-MEZAN center still requests the international community to immediately intervene to provide protection for the Palestinian civilians and present the Israeli war criminals before trial as soon as possible.
