Q.
, 19, was admitted to Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
She was from the Ash-Shatee’ refugee camp.
According to Al Mezan’s initial information, the girl’s father and brother suffocated her to death.
According to police, the police initiated investigation and the body was subject to forensic examination.
The Al Mezan Center for Human Rights views with high concern killings in which perpetrators allege that they were acting on the grounds of “family honor,” the victims of such killings are almost always women.
Al Mezan reiterates its previous call on authorities to treat all killings of women as murder and not to look at the extenuating circumstances beyond the law.
