Opening of the Al Mezan Resource Library

Al Mezan Center for Human Rights opened its human rights resource library in Jabalia. the first library of its kind in the North Gaza Governorate.

Mr. Regis Koetschet, Consul General of France in Jerusalem, Dr. Kamal Al Shrafi, Head of the Al Mezan Board of Directors, and, Mr. Issam Younis, Director of Al Mezan Center for Human Rights attended the opening ceremony. Numerous officials and community members from North Gaza were present.

Al Mezan Center and the Secretariat of the National Plan for the Rights of the Palestinian Child organized a special five-day-training course on human rights and the Rights of the Child in al Mezan’s office in Gaza city.The course targeted a group of Palestinian activists in the field of human rights and the children rights, and aimed at equipping them with basic information and tools that assist them to promote and defend children right in the Gaza Strip.
