At approximately 2:15 pm on Sunday, 16 November 2014, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at Atteya Fathi Atteya An-Nabaheen, 15, who were trying to sneak across the separation fence between Gaza Strip and Israel east of Al Bureij refugee camp.

Israeli soldiers took him to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
He’s still in the hospital suffering from critical injuries.
According to Al Mezan’s field information and the affidavit of his family, Ateyya went to his school and went out during the school time to the border.
The child’s family confirmed that their son suffers from depression, particularly after the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
